She knew her purpose. She knew what God was telling her to do. From her life experiences and her passions, she knew the purpose God had planned for her.
But there was a problem.
There were days when that passion she had for her purpose would fade away.
She felt like her purpose didn’t matter. That it didn’t encourage anyone the way she hoped it would.
We all feel this way one time or another. We have a fiery passion for the purpose that God has given us. But somewhere along the way, we lose that passion.
This leads to second guessing ourselves and God.
If you have this problem periodically, I want to give you three verses that will encourage you and hopefully fuel your purpose when you lose sight of your passion.
Job 42:2
“I know that you can do all things, and that no purpose of yours can be thwarted.”
God’s plans and purpose for your life can not be changed. He knew what you would do and purpose you would live out before you were even born. He gives you the power to do all things. And the purpose He has given you will not cease.
Proverbs 19:21
“Many are the plans in the mind of a man, but it is the purpose of the Lord that will stand.“
Your thoughts are the main things that will make you second guess your purpose. Thinking that their is a better option or a new thing to try that could be your answer will not help you at all.
The purpose that the Lord has laid on your heart is all that matters. The purpose that He has given you will continue to be on your heart, even when the enemy tries to hide it from you.
Exodus 9:16
“But for this purpose I have raised you up, to show you my power, so that my name may be proclaimed in all the earth.“
Through the good and the bad, God’s purpose will prevail. So even if you resist the purpose He has laid on your heart, God will still let His purpose come to pass.
We all have a purpose. God will use each of us to fulfill His plan. Wouldn’t it be easier to work with Him than against Him?
There will be days of doubt. But in the end, God’s purpose for your life will prevail.
Whether your purpose is writing a book, owning a business, becoming a missionary, or being a mother, remember that your purpose was given by God. He will use it for His good. You have no need for doubt. Your purpose can be fueled by God’s purpose for you.
In His amazing love,
Hannah Marie
