“By wisdom a house is built, and by understanding it is established; by knowledge the rooms are filled with all precious and pleasant riches.” Proverbs 2:3-4
If you are a wife or mother, you are called to be the gatekeeper of your home. Whether you stay at home full time or not, your home should be your priority.
The enemy is prowling around seeking whom he can devour. And if your home is not covered in the Lord’s anointing the enemy may be getting his foot in your doorway.
So let’s stand up, sisters, and put on our armor! We will not allow the enemy to get to our homes and family. We will not allow any other spirit within our walls besides the Holy Spirit.
If you’re new to the idea of being a gatekeeper to your home, a shepherd to your childrens’ hearts, a warrior for your husband, and an anointer to your home you have come to the right place. I’m here to walk this journey with you.
To be honest I’m relatively new to this mindset too. I haven’t been married for fifty years with all the knowledge to give you. I don’t have grown kids and a home that has “stood the test of time.” But the Lord has called me to stand up for my home where I am now.
And I believe He is calling you to do the same!
You don’t have to know everything right away. It’s definitely a journey.
