5 Verses for Times of Confusion

We have all lived through times of confusion. Whether it be confusion in our world, in the lives of those we know, or in our own lives.

Confusion can be caused by so many things—chaos, miscommunication, differing beliefs, ect. It is something that we each have to deal with at some point in our lives.

Being confused is not a bad thing. But letting that confusion disrupt your mind and spirit is.

During times when you feel confused I would encourage you to go to God’s Word. It contains so much truth that will help you combat the lies and chaos that leads to your being confused. Here are just five verse for those times of confusion:

God is not a God of confusion.–1 Corinthians 14:33a

For God is not a God of confusion but of peace.

Ask the Lord for understanding.–Psalm 119:34

Give me understanding, that I may keep your law and observe it with my whole heart.

God will give you answers in time.–Matthew 7:7

Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.

Know what the opposite of confusion is.–Philippians 4:8-9

Finally, brother, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things. What you have learned and received and heard and seen in me—practice these things, and the God of peace be with you.

God will give you understanding in everything.–2 Timothy 2:7

Think over what I say, for the Lord will give you understanding in everything.

No matter what confusion you may be facing at this time, remember that God is not a God of confusion.

The chaos, hardships, and confusion that you are experiencing is not from God. But God is still there with you. He will use these times of confusion to bring glory to Him through your life. You may be confused right now, but in the end you will see God’s greater plan.

In His amazing love,

Hannah Marie
