It can be hard to be a Christian girl in today’s society. With all of the comparison that comes from social media and our peers, staying true to your God-given identity can be hard.
But God gives us so many verses that will turn us back to His ways and His design for us.
Here are seven verses that I believe every girl needs to know:
Proverbs 31:25-26 “Strength and dignity are her clothing, and she laughs at the time to come. She opens her mouth with wisdom, and the teaching of kindness is on her tongue.“
Psalm 139:14 “I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well.“
Song of Solomon 4:7 “You are altogether beautiful, my love; there is no flaw in you.“
1 Peter 3:3-4“Do not let your adorning be external—the braiding of hair and the putting on of gold jewelry, or the clothing your wear—but let your adorning be the hidden person of the heart with the imperishable beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which in God’s sight is very precious.“
1 Timothy 2:9 “Likewise also that women should adorn themselves in respectable apparel, with modesty and self-control, not with braided hair and gold or pearls or costly attire.“
1 Timothy 4:12 “Let no one despise you for your youth, but set the believers an example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity.“
Proverbs 31:30 “Charm is deceitful, and beauty is vain, but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised.“
Although comparison tries to creep up on us, we can always know who we are designed to be as daughters of the King.
These seven verses are just the beginning. God’s Word is full of so many amazing promises and examples for us a women. I encourage you to dive in for yourself.
In His amazing love,
Hannah Marie
