Following God’s Path for Your Life

Sometimes life can be hard. Not knowing what’s around the corner can make us doubt our next move. Walking a straight path of life may seem impossible.

Well I need to tell you that it is impossible. God never promised us that life would be simple.

There is a quote that states, “Just because God’s path isn’t always understandable, doesn’t mean it’s not the right path.”

Everyone’s path will look different and that’s okay.

We are each unique. Each of us has a different purpose to live out. We will all go through different struggles and hardships.

Your path may be difficult, but it is the right path for you.

Proverbs 3:5-6 are such popular verses, but they hold great truth: “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.

We cannot begin to know what the future holds or how our lives will play out. But God knows. And He is directing you in the right way.

Psalm 32:8 says, “I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my eye upon you.

And Jeremiah 29:11, another popular verse, states, “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.

God knows and He cares. He can see the future, not you.

We, as His children, need to learn to follow the Lord in everything. It can become so easy to fight Him on our every move, thinking that we know better than He does.

It will be a struggle, but it is not impossible. Following God’s path for your life will end with great promises, and you will be able to say “My foot has held fast to his steps; I have kept his way and have not turned aside” (Job 23:11).
