What is the meaning of life? It is a question that is probably asked by every person in every stage of life.
Asking this question is good for a Christian’s walk of faith. But the answer is the most important.
The answer is living with a kingdom mindset and impacting the world for the Kingdom.
So what is the Kingdom and how can you live Kingdom minded? I’m glad you asked!
The Kingdom is a place of righteousness, peace, and joy (Romans 14:17). Some may believe that the Kingdom will come after the Lord returns. But it is here now! It is within the body of believers.
The Kingdom is how we, God’s children, show others His love and grace.
Living Kingdom-minded means having God at the forefront of your mind every minute of every day. And it means following in the Messiah’s (Christ’s) example.
That is the meaning of life. This is what your vision should be. And that should be your focus in life.
Colossians 3:1-4 says, “If then you have been raised with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth. For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ who is your life appears, then you also will appear with him in glory.“
As God’s children, we need to live beyond how this world does.
We need to live with a Kingdom mindset and be totally devoted to our Lord and the things that honor Him.
So now that you are living with a Kingdom mindset, how do you impact the world for the Kingdom?
If you are living Kingdom-minded, then this should just come naturally to you.
Impacting the world for the Kingdom means treating them as the Lord would treat them. Loving them how He would. Serving them how He would. It’s that simple.
The Kingdom is a great place to experience. And we should want the world to experience it too. The best way to help others do this is by living Kingdom-minded and being a great impact to them.
