Reading has always been a passion of mine since I was little. And still today, reading is one of my favorite things to do.
There is so much to gain by reading. Many books hold great truth and wisdom. You can learn so many new things just by reading a couple of pages.
Christian books are my favorite books to read because they help to grow my faith.
Whether it’s a biography or a type of information book, faith-filled books are great to add to your daily life. They tell you of other believers’ journeys and help you dig deeper into your calling as a child of God.
Below are ten books that have helped grow my faith in some way. These are in no particular order and range from autobiographies to Bible studies.

- Own Your Everyday by Jordan Lee Dooley

- Set-Apart Femininity by Leslie Ludy
If you are wanting to learn more about your design as a woman from a biblical viewpoint, this book is for you. It will help you realize how to live out your femininity fully for the Lord and be the woman God intended you to be.
- Sex, Purity, and the Longings of a Girl’s Heart by Kristen Clark and Bethany Beal
This book is perfect for every woman in today’s culture. With so many lies and confusion about sex and purity, this book is a refreshing look at God’s original design for it all. To read my full review of this book, click here!
- A Chance to Die by Elisabeth Elliot
This book tells the story of Amy Carmichael’s life and her great impact in India. From her childhood to her mission work to her last days, Amy Carmichael’s story was beautifully told throughout the pages of this book. And, I believe, it will help you grow in your own walk of faith.
- Intentional Dating by Paul and Morgan Olliges
A quick and easy read, this book is such a great resource for those who are single or dating. In twenty-five questions the authors answer some of your most asked questions in a biblical way. To read my full review, click here!
- Passion and Purity by Elisabeth Elliot
This book has been around for a while. But it’s still such a great read. It will help you rethink your view of love and let God take control of your love life.
- The Good Portion by Heidi Baird
This book is a nine-week study over allowing God into your secret places and learn to worship Him fully. There are amazing stories of women who have gone through many of the same things that many of us have gone through. And it is beautifully set up for you to take time each day to have a quiet time with the Lord.
- Be Loved by Emma Mae Jenkins
This is a very simple read. But it holds so much truth. Aimed more towards teens and young adults, this book will help you live out your faith fully for the Lord.
- Cole & Sav by Cole and Savannah LaBrant
You have probably heard of these two authors before. But if you haven’t read their story, you’re missing out. Their love story is beautifully told and will encourage you by how God was at the center of each step.
- I Am Rahab by Autumn Miles
This book is for the girl who has made some wrong choices in life or needs to be restored. The author goes through her own story of redemption and mirrors Rahab’s story throughout.
