You slept for maybe two hours last night. The kids are up early. Your baby has already started crying this morning. There are little ones begging for breakfast at your feet. Something spills. A toddler breaks a dish. Someone is saying “no” over and over. Two of your precious little ones are hitting one another. Here comes the mom rage. And then you start to raise your voice as you are juggling all the things. Then somehow you start yelling, crying, slamming cabinets, and blaming your kids for everything that is going wrong. No mother wants their day to look…

At the end of last year we walked through a miscarriage. I was almost six weeks pregnant when we lost our child. It was extremely difficult but at the same time there was so much comfort in that season which I can only account to the Lord. Then quickly after we unexpectedly got pregnant again. This was such a blessing because I know so many couples struggle with infertility and loss after loss. But even though I was praising the Lord this pregnancy came with some fears. That is when my faith had to step in with carrying this baby…

* Disclaimer: this post may contain affiliate links. We are about to add a third little one to our family. But a question I get asked often is “what tips do I have when it comes to transitioning from one to two kids?” It was a little over two years ago now that our family made the transition to having two kids (two and under by the way.) And I will say right now that I don’t know everything and everything I did in our transition to two kids worked. But a lot of what I did and what I…

Over the past few months I have been incorporating different systems to hopefully help both myself and my toddlers transition to becoming a family of five a little easier. Whether you are getting ready to welcome a new little one, you are freshly postpartum, or are just looking for some ways to make your life easier…

A common theme I hear from women recently is how much their family needs breakthrough from the Lord. Whether that is breakthrough for their husband’s faith, work problems, family issues, generational struggles, financial difficulties, their own faith, and so on I am hearing the need for breakthrough and desire to pray for it. But so many women just don’t know how to pray for breakthrough for their families. I wish I could give you a script on what to pray but every situation and family is different. So below I am going to share what I can to encourage you…

*This post contains affiliate links. Thank you so much for shopping with my links! If you are currently in the season of mothering young ones you are probably up all night. Your time to yourself is very short if you can find any at all. And your quiet time with Lord may be falling to the back burner. I get it! Right now I am currently in the season of motherhood where I am constantly surrounded by little ones all day long (and even throughout the night.) Reading my Bible was not a priority of my for many years. And…
