Who God Says You Are

Rahab was probably called many things throughout her life. Sinner. Prostitute. Wicked. Dirty. She was used to being labeled as these things.

But God decided to intervene in Rahab’s life.

He stepped into her sinful life of prostitution and wicked labels and called her precious, chosen and loved.

Rahab was His precious daughter that He created to be beautiful and worthy. She was chosen by Him and became one of His chosen people. And she was loved by her Heavenly Father no matter what may have been in her past.

God also calls you precious, chosen, and loved.

You are precious in My sight.” (Isaiah 43:4a)

He wants you to know that you are precious (Isa. 43:4). That He still thinks of you as His precious daughter no matter what you may have done (1 Pet. 2:9). That He will forgive you (1 John 1:19). And that you can start living today in the truth that you are His precious daughter.

You did not choose Me but I chose you.” (John 15:16a)

Just like God chose Rahab, He has also chosen you. He wants you to choose Him and follow His ways (Duet.14:22). He wants to graft you into His chosen family (1 Pet. 2:9). God chose you and is waiting for you to come to Him (John 15:16). No matter what you may have done in your past, God is still waiting on you with open arms. He has chosen you to be a part of His family.

I love you.” (Isaiah 43:4c)

No matter what you have done in your past or may be doing in your present, God still loves you. Nothing can separate us from God’s love (Rom. 8:35-39). He loved you so much that He sent His Son to die for you (Rom. 5:8). His love is an everlasting love (Jer. 31:3) that we cannot be separated from.

God has called you precious, chosen, and loved. This is who God says you are.

Just like Rahab’s life was changed when God decided to intervene, your life can be changed in the same way. God is waiting for you to let Him intervene in every part of your life and wants you to know that you are precious, chosen, and loved by Him.

In His amazing love,

Hannah Marie
